Cencetti goes into the lead!

24th May 2016

Currently in the Sunoco Whelen Challenge Marco Cencetti is leading the standings after a successful weekend at Spa in the Radical European Masters. He is followed closely by Ross Gunn in British GT3 who will be out racing at the weekend at Oulton Park and could take the lead this weekend if he has two successful rounds! Also in contention in 9th place is British GT3’s Seb Morris who could storm into the lead after his upcoming rounds. Anything can happen, and all could change after next weekend!PM1_8528.JPG1912799.0003.jpg

Meanwhile in the Sunoco 200 Challenge there was no change after the weekend as none of the eligible series were out racing. However, with British GT coming up this weekend, can current Sunoco 200 Challenge leader (and 2010 Sunoco Daytona Challenge winner) Derek Johnston stay in the lead? Derek is this year racing with 2016 Sunoco Whelen Challenge winner Jonny Adam so this pairing have already proved they know what it takes to win the Sunoco Challenge. He is currently ahead by just one point over MINI Challenge's Max Bladon who is racing at Silverstone this weekend.

Keep tuned next week as we could see a major shake up in both the Sunoco Challenge standings as British GT races at Oulton Park, whilst MINI Challenge and GT Cup take to the tracks at Silverstone!

The Challenge continues...
